Councillor Glenn Livingstone visits

It was wonderful to have a surprise visit from Councillor Glenn Livingstone while DORA was in Brighton this morning. Glenn was responsible for cutting the ribbon when DORA was first launched in November 2012 - nearly a year ago now.

DORA, Mobile Digital Learning Centre

With support from InternetNZ, 2020 Communications Trust converted a beautiful old school bus into a hi-tech mobile learning centre in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Dora was purchased from Central Motorways Ltd in Alexandra where she had operated as a school bus since 1985. She has been reinvented as a mobile digital learning centre, to support our Stepping Up classes in Christchurch, as since the quakes, venues at schools were limited, and transport often unreliable. With our independent mobile learning centre, we can take our digital learning to any venue.
